Because of their social circumstances, many of the young people who take part in an ARTICULATE art project suffer from low self-esteem. The Superheroes project was designed to encourage them to take pride in themselves and build their self confidence.

Madeilene, a young girl with good reading skills, decided she would be ‘Super Lectura’, using her power to help other children learn to read.

Jesus, aka ‘Super TV’, decided he would follow the news all over the world, so he always knew where to go to help people in need.
