"Volunteering with articulate has taken me on many journeys, not only geographically and culturally but also professionally and intellectually. Articulate partner with such diverse organisations around the world providing volunteers with the opportunity for a magnitude of learning, for example, having the opportunity to learn and work in another language, for me this has been a huge personal achievement. Articulate gave me the complete autonomy to devise and deliver my own creative workshops allowing me to build confidence in my participatory practice and create a repertoire of art workshops that I still use today.
Because of Articulates collaborative way of working I have experienced how other organisations are challenging social injustice and working creatively to empower young people to make the changes they want to see, this has undoubtedly inspired my own working practice with young people. I would recommend to anyone that is looking for a challenge and life changing experience to volunteering with Articulate."
